WilmaLee1Wilma Marie Krause Lee, our beloved angel, made her peace with the Lord and went straight up to heaven on February 14, 2010 in Dallas. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday February 18, 2010 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Benedict Zientek officiating, interment to follow in Cox Cemetery under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home with a Rosary service to be held at 7:00 p.m.

Wilma was born December 27, 1930 in Burlington, Tx to Edwin J. Krause and Minnie Lee (Kleypas) Krause. She married Curtis Hale Lee on May 27, 1950, in Bryan, Tx. Wilma was an active 27 year member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where she enjoyed her homebound ministry, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, and many other church activities. She was also part of the Elm Grove Community Club and held the offices of Secretary and Treasurer while helping in the many community events. She was a long term employee for the Winn Dixie/Brookeshire’s Grocery Stores before her recent retirement.

Wilma is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Curtis Hale Lee of Elm Grove; seven children, Mark Lee and wife Kim, Ellen Schoenbeck and husband David, Ann Lein, Nancy Lee, Matthew Lee and wife Carrie, Andrew Lee and wife Gina, and Daniel Lee and wife Mindy; 14 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three brothers, Robert, Edlee, and Kirby.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Darrill, Ray, and Donald.

The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Elm Grove Community Club c/o Jerald Weatherman 1132 CR267 Elm Grove, Tx 76872 or to the charity of your choice.
