8 Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

District Attorney, Micheal Murray says that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis, presiding.

Lisa Kay Lee, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and two felony offenses of Forgery and was sentenced to Nine (9) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Judy Marie Wheat, on probation for the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and revoked and sentenced to Nine (9) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Robert Thomas Denison, pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Six (6) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Denison, on probation for the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated was revoked and sentenced to Six (6) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Lukas Scott Rootes, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation was adjudicated and sentenced to Six (6) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Zachery Buck Griffin, pled guilty to the felony offense of the Assault Family Violence-Occlusion and was sentenced to Four (4) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

John Anthony Gowin, on probation for the felony offense of Retaliation was revoked and sentenced to Three (3) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Richard Aaron Roberds, pled guilty to the felony offense of Manufacture of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to (2) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Natasha Renee Cadena, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was revoked and sentenced to Twelve (12) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
