DoloresWilliamsDolores Williams, 68 of Mullin passed away Saturday February 6, 2010.  Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30AM Tuesday February 9, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.  Visitation and Rosary will be held from 6:00 until 8:00PM at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

Dolores G. Williams was born August 30, 1941 in Brownwood, Tx, to Juan and Paula Gutierrez.  She was a graduate of Brownwood High School, where she was a first year member of the Lionette’s.  Gloria retired from G.T.E after 15 years and last worked as C.E.O. of Luke’s Inc. in Dallas, Tx.  She was a devout Catholic and married Luke Williams in St. Mary’s.  They retired to their ranch, the “Lazy L”, in Mills County.  She was a member of St. Elizabeth’s of Colleyville and St. John’s Bible Study Group.  Soon after joining the Bible group she became a member of the “Gypsy Quilters”.  She took great pride in decorating and hosting parties, and kept up all the family traditions.  She painted many scenes of nature, but quilting was her passion.  She made each of her five children a 40th birthday quilt and wished to make each of her eleven grandchildren a graduation quilt, but her illness kept her from realizing her goal.  Gloria had so many friends and loved ones who supported her through her illness.  Her memory will be forever in their hearts.  The family would like to thank Lucile, first of all, for her devotion.  They would also like to thank her friends Mary, Motsy, Hazel, Pat, Sharon, Eida, Becky, Tommie, Bob, and the countless others for their never ending prayers.

Dolores is survived by her husband Luke, her children; Robert Montellano, Jr., Paula Gonzales, Sonia Castaneda, Monica McCorkle of Brownwood, and Cresccintia (Chrissy) Phillips of Hurst, her grandchildren; John Robert, Erin, Jonathon, Pamela, Jeremy, Mauri, Landon, Marcus, Marissa, Jared, and Loralee, her step children Juke Jr., and Donna and her children; J.R., Jennifer, and Suzanne, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Juan Victor and Paula Gutierrez, her brother John V. and his son Joe Anthony Gutierres.
