Howard Payne University’s Yellow Jacket Cheer Squad will host a junior cheer camp on Friday, February 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Area-wide boys and girls in grades K-6 are invited to participate in this camp, where they will have the opportunity to learn from college cheerleaders while interacting with other children in the community.

During the 2.5-hour session on Friday evening the junior cheerleaders will learn a dance and cheer.  On Saturday, the group will have the opportunity to perform during halftime at the Howard Payne University Lady Jackets basketball game at the Brownwood Coliseum.   Snacks will be provided for Friday’s session and T-shirts will be handed out for the performance on Saturday.
