Hair Cuts For Haiti

logoSpa on the Creek in Brownwood is planning on holding a benefit day for relief efforts in Haiti.

The one day event called “Hair Cuts for Haiti” will be held on Monday, February 1st at Spa on the Creek located at 4100 Hwy 377 S.   The minimum donation amount is $10 and it will go to the “Hope for Haiti” program.

Several stylist are donating their time to the efforts including Ashley Henderson, Holly Lancaster, Mandy Walker, Jessie Evans, Megan Grady, Haylie Gross, and Lacie Ramirez.

Those interested can also stop by and donate and assortment of other needed items.  Those include:

  • Over the Counter Medications
  • Pain Relievers (Tylenol, aspirin, Advil, Supplies of all kinds)
  • Multivitamins
  • New tube socks (protect dressings)
  • Linens:flat bedsheets
  • Bath Towels, washcloths
  • Light weight blankets
  • Plastic Gloves, Work gloves, Latex/Nitrile Examination Gloves
  • Chapstick
  • Toothpaste, tooth brushes
  • Baseball caps (protect dressings)
  • First Aid and Wound Care, Ace bandages, Sterile gauze
  • Flashlights that do not require batteries
  • Adhesive bandages—all sizes, adhesive tape, Dressings—all sizes
  • Self-Adherent wrap tape
  • Germ Guard face masks
  • Medicines and medical supplies of all kinds
