Graveside services for William T. Barton, age 84, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Salt Creek Cemetery in Brown County. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Heartland Funeral Home.  Mr. Barton passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

William Thomas Barton was born on May 22, 1925 in Truscott, Texas to Jerry Benard and Mary Elizabeth Tyson Barton.  He was a lifelong member of the United Pentacostal Church and had lived in Brownwood most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his father  Jerry Benard Barton; mother Mary Elizabeth Faulkner; one brother Jerry Barton and one sister Chlorene Fisher.
