Brown County Sheriff Bobby Grubbs released information on Friday regarding a man and woman who are accused of burglarizing three businesses around Lake Brownwood over the weekend.

21-year-old Justin Hardaway and his girlfriend were identified on surveillance video from Corrina’s Mexican Food Restaurant on Hwy 279, where they are accused of shooting through a glass door and burglarizing the building.

The man and woman are also accused of burglarizing two other Lake Brownwood businesses the same night, Tootie Kelly Real Estate and Kirkland Docks.  The Sheriff’s office reports that stolen items from Kirkland were recovered at McCarthy’s residence.

Grubbs said that after Hardaway was arrested on Thursday for a parole violation, McCarthy admitted that the two had driven around Sunday night into early Monday morning committing the burglaries.
