Noni Kirkland Barfield, age 73 of Brownwood, Texas died January 10, 2010 at her home.

The body will be cremated under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. Family services will be private at a later date.

Noni was born October 17, 1936 in Cashon, New Mexico to the late Frank and Vernice Vanosdale Askren. She made her home in Brownwood in 1978 where she loved the garden and crochet.
