The Brownwood Lady Lions basketball team was defeated Tuesday night as they faced off against the Abilene Cooper Lady Cougars on the road with a final score of 48-45.  The Lady Lions were down 10 points after the first quarter and just could not recover from their deficit.

This brings Brownwood to a 13-7 record on the season as they look to face Sweetwater in district play on Friday.

Scorers for the Lady Lions included Patricia Wilson 15 points, Amanda Gober 6 points, Syd Darden 15 points, Hannah Mask 3 points, Kelsey Gober 1 point, and Trinity Ansons 5 point. Totals — 15 11-16 45.
