A two vehicle accident on Main Street in front of Kroger grocery store blocked several lanes of traffic Wednesday night at approximately 6pm.
A passenger car and a Dodge pickup truck collided as the car pulled out of the Kroger parking lot according to witnesses on the scene.
The Brownwood Fire Department, Police Department, and Guardian EMS were dispatched and at least two people were taken to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for injuries.
Some traffic was diverted down North Fisk and through Hastings parking lot as workers cleared the area.
No official information was available on the extent of injuries.
