The Brownwood Lions hosted San Angelo Lake View Tuesday night, but the outcome was not what they were looking for.  The Lions lost with a final score of 61-49 as their record slips to 3-7 on the season.

Those scoring for Brownwood were Greg Jefferson – 22 points, Marquos Barnes – 11 points, Michael Ballejo – 8 points, Derek Longoria – 4 points, and Chris Cotton – 4 points.

The Lions will host Abilene Cooper on Friday night.

The Lady Lions lost their game on the road Tuesday night against Merkel by a narrow margin of 42-40 taking their record to 8-6 on the season.

The Lady Lions will be on the road Friday night to face off against San Angelo Lake View.
