bloodmobileIt is time for residents to roll up their sleeves (literally) and help give the ultimate gift for the holiday season.

United Blood Services will be available three times before Christmas for those interested to give blood to help support the blood supply.  Supply for O negative blood has been low, but all blood types will be accepted.

United Blood Services has been this area’s non-profit community blood provider since 1956 and serves patients in 11 surrounding counties. The United Blood Services network is one of the nation’s oldest and largest non-profit blood service organizations, and is a founding member of America’s Blood Centers and the AABB.

Those who give blood will get a free long-sleeve t-shirt and will be entered in a drawing.

There are several appointments available at each location listed below.  Visit www.bloodhero.com to set up an appointment.
