The Brownwood Lions basketball team fell to San Angelo Lake View on Tuesday night in their season opener.

It was a tough game for the Lions as they fell behind early in the game and never recovered with a final score of 31-59.  Brownwood struggled throughout the game with turnovers which Lake View took full advantage of.

Only three Lions scored during the game: Greg Jefferson – 12 points, Marquos Barnes – 12 points, and Marcus Sterling – 7 points.

This gives Brownwood a 0-1 record for the season after this opener.  The Lions will travel to Jim Ned next Tuesday to look for their first win.
