brownwoodlionslogoAfter filling up on turkey and dressing Thursday, Brownwood Lions fans will head to Coppperas Cove for the big game against Wimberly in the 3A Division 2 Regional Championship.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday for the game at the Brownwood ISD central administration office and the Brownwood High School Athletic office.  Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for students.  All tickets at the gate will be $8 each.  Active military with ID is $4.

Due to the short Thanksgiving week, tickets will be on sale through 1:00pm on Wednesday at the High School athletic office or 2:30 at the Administration Bldg on 4th St.

Other Brownwood Lions events this week include a “walk through” at Gordon Wood Stadium on Thursday morning at 9am which is open to the public.  A great time for those visiting the area for Thanksgiving to see the stadium and fans to support the team.  The Lions Mother’s Club will be serving coffee and hot chocolate.

There will be a very short send off pep rally at 9:00 am on Friday in the Brownwood High School parking lot by the charter bus.

The game kickoff is set for 2pm on Friday November 27th at the Coppperas Cove Bulldawg Stadium.
