The American Southwest Conference today announced the 2009 women’s soccer All-Conference teams and Howard Payne had four players named to the list.

2009 ASC ALL-CONFERENCE
FIRST TEAM

Leslie Jones, F, Fr., Mesquite, TX (North Mesquite HS) 

Led the Lady Jackets in goals scored with 14, good for a second place tie in the ASC.

THIRD TEAM

Susana Chavarria, MF, Sr., El Paso, TX (San Elizario HS) 

Was a four-year letterman and one of the original women’s players from the start of the HPU program. She was second on the team in goals scored with five.

Emily Nutt, D, So., Midlothian, TX (MHS) 

HONORABLE MENTION

Anna McCay, D, Fr., Canyon, TX (CHS)
