Brown County Grand Jury Indictments from October 2009

District Attorney Michael Murray released the list of October 2009 indictments handed down by the Grand Jury.  58 indictments were returned against 49 individuals.

Of note was an indictment for Murder and Intoxication Manslaughter against Pamela Sue Belveal.   She was arrested by Brownwood Police in August and accused of running over a male roommate with her vehicle as he sat in the backyard of their home. Belveal remains in custody at the Brown County Jail on a $500,000 bond.  CLICK HERE for more information from our original story.

Below is the list released by the DA’s office:

  • William Joseph Meyer – Endangering a Child
  • Shannon Gene Reeder – Driving while Intoxicated
  • Kenneth Lorenzo Ferguson – Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone & Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence & Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon
  • Billy Berkley – Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Deidra Ann Lawson – Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Kimberly Raiford – Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Kenneth Dale Riggs – Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • David Zamora Hernandez – Possession of a controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver Repeat/Habitual Offender & Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence Repeat/Habitual Offender
  • Susan Michelle Murr – Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver
  • Kathleen Louise Cromer – Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse
  • Lloyd George McBride – Obstruction
  • Patrick Garcia – Driving While Intoxicated
  • Jason Matthew Inglet – Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle & Burglary of a Building
  • Kevin Lewis Kessinger – Burglary of a Building & Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle
  • Arthur Lopez – Evading Arrest
  • Jesse Arriaga – Count I & II: Evading Arrest – Deadly Weapon
  • Mauri Payton – Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence
  • Clarence Edward Acord – Theft over $20,000 under $100,000 – Aggregated & Theft over $20,000 under $100,000
  • Lisa Kay Lee – Forgery/ State Jail Felony Enhancement
  • Gustavo Rodrigo Buttron – Assault Family Violence Enhanced
  • Pamela Sue Belveal – Count I: Murder & Count II: Intoxication Manslaughter
  • David Wayne West – Driving While Intoxicated
  • Monica Theodora Castaneda – Fraudulent use of Possession of Identifying Information
  • John Albert Goins – Endangering a Child
  • Tasha Richelle Lynch – Count I & II: Endangering a Child
  • Benjamin Lee Rainey – Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon
  • Mark Anthony Stewart – Burglary of a Habitation/repeat offender
  • Rebecca Ann Nolen – Forgery
  • Donald Eugene Skaggs – Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver
  • Jesse Arriaga – Theft over $1500 under $20,000
  • John Scott Dyer (Re indictment) – Count I & II: Possession of Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone

*Note that the District Attorney’s Office does not release names of Defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest.
