The Heart of Texas Christian Women’s Job Corps is a non-profit, faith-based agency where women in need are equipped for life and employment through job-readiness classes, computer classes, GED training, Bible study, and mentoring.

Women chosen to participate in the Christian Women’s Job Corps program attend intensive life and work skills courses that include daily Bible study and computer classes.  The curriculum is designed to give the CWJC students a firm foundation on which to build a successful life and career.

The program’s goal is to help build the student’s self-esteem, self-confidence and skills essential to success in life and work.

Graduates include Marcella Aguirre, Monica edwards, Marta Gomez, Amanda Kay Huddleston, Vicenta Medanich, Martha Marun, Edna McWirter, Diana Mendieta, Tabitha Lyn Porter, Jennifer Lynn Reid, and Eusebia Doralina White.

The graduation will be held Tuesday at the Family Services Center located at 901 Avenue B. on Tuesday.  Those wanting to attend can call 325-643-1788 to RSVP.  The graduates would appreciate the public’s support.

The Christian Women’s Job Corps is also accepting applications for the Spring Session and will begin mid-February 2010.  Those interested can call the above number for more information.
