The Brownwood High School Freshman Maroon football team faced the Sweetwater Mustangs Freshman at Gordon Wood Stadium Thursday night.  The Lions struggled for most of the game with a 6-20 loss to the Mustangs.

Slate Miller (QB) connected a 46 yard touchdown pass to Cooper Howey (WR) – for the only Lions points of the game.

This takes the Freshman Maroon to an overall record of 4-5 and a district record of 1-3.

Next Game is Thursday, November 5th vs. Snyder Tigers at Snyder at 5 PM.

Brownwood Lions Freshman White team played Abilene Wylie Bulldogs Freshman at Gordon Wood Stadium on Thursday afternoon and lost with a final score of 0-6.
