The American Southwest Conference office announced its women’s soccer players of the week and Howard Payne’s Leslie Jones was honored for the second time this year – this time as Co-Offensive Player of the week.

Howard Payne freshman forward Leslie Jones (Mesquite, TX / North Mesquite HS) recorded her second hat trick of the season to pace an 8-0 win over McMurry.

Jones, who takes the league’s top weekly award for the second time, is second in the conference with 12 goals and tied for first with four game-winners. She has two of the four hat tricks in the ASC this season.
