LindaBradwell2Linda Bardwell, age 51 of Brownwood passed away Thursday October 22, 2009.  Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Monday October 26, 2009 in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow at McDaniel Cemetery.  Visitation is set for Sunday October 25, 2009 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, from 6-8pm.

Linda Jean Bardwell was born July 7, 1958 in Waco, TX, to Ray and Sammie Fikes.  She married Walter Bardwell on May 2, 1975 in Waco, TX.  Linda had a boisterous free spirit, and was full of life.  Linda, “Granny Linda” as she was known to her grandchildren, collected angles, enjoyed all kinds of music, and loved the Dallas Cowboys.  Her boys, Walter and Shannon, were her life.  Linda was a homemaker, a wife, a sister, and an aunt.  She was a resident of the area for 33 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, and her grandparents.

Mrs. Bardwell is survived by her husband Walter, two sons; Walter David and Shannon Floyd Bardwell, her step-father Wilson David Smith, her brother Michael Smith of Cleburne, TX, her sister Brenda Fikes of Cleburne, TX, two grandchildren; Tyler and Kayleigh Bardwell, two “adopted sons”; Danny Egger and Michael Fulton, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
