The Pecan Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross is seeking more money for its local fire fund.

The fire fund goes to help victims of fire in the area with recovery.  It can help pay for food, shelter and cloths to those who have experienced a loss due to a fire.

The Red Cross said that to help a family of 5 for about 3 days can cost up to $1000.

Those interested in making a contribution to the Pecan Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross can bring a check or money order donation by their office located at 600 E. Adams Street in Brownwood or visit their website at http://www.pecanvalleyredcross.org/ for more information.
