The 7th and 8th grade middle school football teams played Breckenridge at home on Tuesday and made some big wins.

The 8th grade “A” team  defeated the Buckaroos 24-8 on Tuesday bringing the 8th grade team to a 1-0 district record.

Garrett Barnum made a 19 yard touchdown run in the 1st quarter.  In the 2nd quarter, Dylan Lewis made a 20 yard touchdown run and Josh Soto scored with a 5 yard rushing touchdown.  Seth Owen connected to Kyle Steele with a 13 yard passing touchdown.

The 7th grade “A” football team overcame adversity and pulled out a 12-6 hard fought win against Breckenridge.

Joseph Meyers made a 55 yard run for the touchdown in the 2nd quarter. In the 3rd, Matt Merket caught  a 15 yard pass from Eddie Duque for a touchdown.

The 7th grade “B” team took control of Breckenridge early in their game and rolled to a 22-0 victory.

Trevor Delarosa scored a touchdown on a 30 yard run in the 1st quarter.  Sean Ludlow made a big 50 yard rushing touchdown in the 2nd and another 40 yard run in the 3rd quarter for the touchdown.
