High Mesa Cowboy Church of Brownwood has started its annual Coats for Christ ministry.

This program seeks to find warm coats for less fortunate children in the area who’s family cannot afford a new coat for the winter.  Coats for Christ works with area schools to match each child in need with a new coat.

Those interested can donate either a new coat for the cause or a monetary donation.  The average cost of a coat runs $25 to $55 for each child.  All money received will be used directly to purchase the new coats for the cause.
