AKenemoreMemorial services for Arvel Gene “A.G.”, age 78, of Early, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday October 15, 2009 at the Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Kelly Crenshaw officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Kenemore passed away Sunday evening at his residence.

A.G. was born on July 3, 1931, in Clovis, New Mexico the son of the late George Washington and Mary Melvina (Price) Kenemore. He married Margaret Nell Pratt in Clovis, New Mexico on January 1, 1950. He was retired from Conoco Phillips where he worked as a electrician along with working as a entrepreneur with his wife, owning and operating the McDonald’s in Brownwood and Brady from 1989-1996.

A.G. is survived by two sons, Darrell Kenemore and wife Debi of Early, and Mike Kenemore and Laveeta Burch of Brownwood; Grandson Michael Kenemore of Early; three granddaughters, Melissa Aguirre and husband Chris of Early, Jennifer Bartlett and husband Chris of Early, and Darrah Smith and husband Andy of Atlanta, Ga.; great grandchildren, Kourtney Gainey, Charles Cummings, Cynthia Gooch, Nicholas Kenemore,Payton Bartlett, Parker Bartlett, Ethan Smith, Christian Aguirre, Cadynce Aguirre, and Presley Aguirre; six sisters, Ella Ruth Burleson, Mary Joyce Robertson, Lillie Marie Koehler and husband Don, Patricia Ann Ballard, Carol Dean Brooks and husband Sonny, and Norma Nadine Akers and husband Ben; and a brother, Ronnie Dwayne Kenemore and wife Wynell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Kenemore; parents; two brothers, Harold Ray Kenemore and George W. Kenemore Jr.; daughter-in-law, Carol Maxine Nabours-Kenemore; and three sisters, Laura Beatrice Houston, Dorothy Fay Canon, and Oma Lea Kirpach.
