The 7th & 8th grade Brownwood Middle School “C” teams faced the Early Middle School “B” teams at Gordon Wood Stadium on Monday evening.
The 7th grade Brownwood team shut out Early with a final score of 18-0. The coaches indicated that the players showed lots of improvement from their first game.
Scoring plays included:
Nicholas Mims with a 31 yard run for a touchdown in the 1st quarter. Trevor DeLa Rosa made a 13 yard touchdown run in the second quarter as did Devon Williams with a 45 yard touchdown run.

The 8th Grade Brownwood football “C” team made a stunning come from behind victory scoring two unanswered touchdowns at the end of the 4th quarter defeating Early 14-6.
Scoring drives included a 10 yard touchdown run by Colby Lohse in the 4th quarter along with a successful 2 point conversion. Donovan Jackson made a 45 yard defensive touchdown run on an interception in the 4th quarter as well.
