5 Arrested In Suspected Drug Lab

5 people are in jail after the Brown County Sheriff’s office in a joint investigation with the Early Police Department found components of a suspected drug lab early on Friday.

The lab parts were found at the Good Shepherd apartments in Brownwood and the remainder of the lab was found in a residence in Blanket.  The evidence collected indicates that methamphetamine had been produced.

Those arrested are were:

 

  • Leonard Wesley Edmiston, 39 of Brownwood
  • Richard Roberts, 29
  • Heather Marie Sansom, 30 of Poplar Bluff, MO
  • Wanda Hood Schultze Tongate, 45 of Tyler, TX
  • William McAuthor Westerman, 42 of Miles, TX

As of Wednesday morning, they are still being held in Brown County Jail each on a $100,000 bond.  The suspects are charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, engaging in organized crime, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine.
