reunionlogoThis year, children are invited to sign up for the Honor a Hero Parade. Registration is free, and children are asked to please dress in red, white and blue.

We will be honoring our EMTs, firemen, policemen, both past and present members of the military and other heroes. These heroes are asked to be in uniform where possible and please be at the bleachers in front of the Hometown Heroes stage no later than 11:30, or they may choose to march with the children in the parade.

Children are also encouraged to have their own personal heroes march with them in the parade, and there is also a space on the registration form where your child’s hero’s name can be written.
Registration will begin at 10:30 at the Citizens Bank drive thru area, and lineup for the parade will be at 11:30. The parade will start at 11:45.

We are thrilled to have Scouts presenting the flags and the Mighty Maroon Marching Band drumline leading the parade!

Forms will be passed out to children this week at school, or they can be accessed at http://brownwoodtx.com/event/BRC_2009_Eventdata/CompetChildParade.pdf Feel free to print the form and complete it.

Forms should be turned in at the registration table the day of the parade. We hope to see you there!
