Lois Seaton

seatonLois Glendora Vanpelt Seaton, age 67, of Brownwood went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 13th, 2009, she passed away peacefully at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday September 16, 2009 at the Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Allen Wallace officiating, interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lois was born March 5, 1942, in Coleman, Texas, to Charlie and Geneva (Holland) Vanpelt.

She married Don Seaton on October 6, 1962 and they had twin sons, Ronnie and Donnie Seaton. Lois was a retired nurse from Brownwood Regional Medical Center where she dedicatedly served for over 30 years. She was also a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

Lois is survived by her husband of 46 years, Don Seaton; two sons, Ronnie Seaton and wife Iris, and Donnie Seaton and wife Tammy; She had five wonderful grandchildren, Kyle and wife Kassidi, Kevin, Kollin, Jeremy and Jessica Seaton; two sisters, LaVerne Vanpelt, and Janice Shields and husband Sidney of Brownwood; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents;two older brothers, C.R. and J.P., and a twin brother, Lawrence Glen Vanpelt. Lois will be missed by all her family and friends.
