“Tea Party Express” Launches Nationwide Tour Today

teapartyexpressOn August 28th, The Tea Party Express caravan, which features two 45-foot coaches along with several RV’s, a contingent of SUVs and support vehicles, will head eastward from California to Washington, DC on a 34 city stop across the US.

Featured speaker Mark Williams said in a press release, “Our hope for this tour is that patriotic Americans will be encouraged by these rallies, and realize that there are millions of people out there supporting this cause.  Contrary to what Katie Couric will tell you,” continued Williams, “we are neither fearful nor ignorant; we are the soul of this nation.”

The cities currently slated to be a rallying point for the Tea Party Express are:

  • Winnemucca, NV
  • Elko, NV
  • Ely, NV
  • Las Vegas, NV
  • Flagstaff, AZ
  • Albuquerque, NM
  • Las Cruces, NM
  • El Paso, TX

  • Waco, TX
  • Dallas, TX
  • Mt. Vernon, TX
  • Little Rock, AR
  • Memphis, TN
  • Louisville, KY
  • Bloomington, IN
  • Champaign, IL
  • Joliet, IL
  • South Bend, IN
  • Battle Creek, MI
  • Jackson, MI
  • Brighton, MI
  • Troy, MI
  • Canton, OH
  • Franklin Park/Pittsburgh, PA
  • Johnstown, PA
  • State College, PA

The press release also said that The Tea Party Express tour will feature action-oriented conservative spokespeople and entertainers such as talk show host Mark Williams, Marine Mom Deborah Johns, National Tax Limitation Committee Chairman, Lew Uhler, singer Lloyd Marcus, YouTube sensation Rivoli Review, pop singer Diana Nagy, embedded members of the media, and many more.

Although the tour does not come directly into the Brownwood area, it does cross near the Central Texas region.  Those interested can catch the tour in San Antonio & Waco on September 3rd & Dallas on September 4th.
