Phoenix Motorcycle Club To Sponsor Benefit Next Month

MotorcycleLogoThe Phoenix Motorcycle Club is inviting residents to join them on September 11-13th, 2009 for their 13th Annual “Run from the Heart”  motorcycle rally to benefit the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.

Their “Run from the Heart” event will be at Riverside Park on that weekend & a list of the events for the weekend are as follows:

-Friday, September 11th will be a warm up party to allow participants time to set up camp.

-Saturday, September 12th will be a  Motorcycle “Fun Run” early in the morning; kiddie korral will be open during the “Fun Run”.  There will be bike games; Balloon Toss, Wienie Bite and Slow Race, a bike show and many vendors to browse through.

-Sunday morning worship service provided by CMA.

Blind Terry and the Crashing Pink Flamingos will be playing late Friday night and Saturday night.

The cost for the event is $15.00 per person and $25.00 per couple (and one unwrapped toy), children under 12 are free. RV sites available @ $30 a night (RV price does not include entrance fee). Camping is free unless electricity is needed.

Vendors are welcome with only a $60.00 fee – RSVP for Vendor spot.

Dogs MUST be on a leash at all times.
