classicCarReunionArticlePicThe 2009 Brownwood Reunion Celebration is right around the corner, and many attendees will feel like they have gone though a time machine with the Reunion’s 1950’s theme.

One event that will really embrace this theme is the Classic Car Show sponsored by the Heartland Cruisers.

The Classic Car Show will be held at the Brownwood Coliseum at 500 E. Banker in Brownwood.

The show times will be:

  • Saturday, September 19th – 10am – 6pm
  • Sunday, September 20th – Noon – 5pm

There will be door prizes and free gifts for all entrants & a People’s Choice Award will be given and announced on Sunday, Sept 20th at 4pm.

Organizers say the the car show is already full and will showcase some wonderful automobiles from the   1950’s, ’60’s, & ’70’s.  One highlight that organizers have talked about is one of the original Mayberry Police Cars from the Andy Griffith Show.

Although the show is full, organizers said that if anyone has a classic 1950’s car they wish to enter, they will attempt to make some room.  Contact Wayne Creel at 325-642-0664 for more information or visit the Brownwood Reunion website to download an entry form.

Also check out the great photos of some classic cars at the official Heartland Cruisers Website.
