The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Brownwood are pleased to join the celebration of Howard Payne University in welcoming Dr. Bill Ellis, the new President of HPU.
The event will be a come-and-go reception with no program or agenda.
The Welcome Reception will be held on Thursday, September 3 at the Historic Depot from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served by Sodexho.
Ellis is the 19th President in the 120 year history of HPU. Dr. Ellis has served as Provost and Chief Academic Officer at Hardin-Simmons University since 2001.
