Break out the running shoes because the local running and jogging community is looking for new recruits.

A new running club has been founded in Brownwood sponsored by Fit by Faith Fitness and the brainchild of avid runner Brian Wade.  The group, now called the Loop Running Club, meets every Saturday morning at 8am at Fit by Faith Fitness at 3610 Durham in Brownwood.  Those who attend divide in to groups depending on pace and experience and start running.  All skill levels are welcome from beginners to marathon runners with experience.

The idea of the group is to give those interested in running some accountability partners, to help train for races and to have fun with other runners.

Many of the group’s participants are working hard to train for upcoming races like the Goat Gallop 5k in Brady and the Brownwood Reunion 5K.

There is no cost to join and no membership required.
