The ancitipation for the 2009/2010 Brownwood Lion Football Season is building & the teams are getting set for their first set of scrimmages coming up in a couple of weeks.
All Brownwood High School teams will scrimmage Lubbock Monterrey at the Texas Tech field on Saturday August 15. Scrimmage times are:
- 9th Grade – 10:00am
- Junior Varsity – 11:00am
- Varsity – 12:30pm
All High School teams will scrimmage San Angelo Central at AISD field on Knickerbocker in Abilene on Friday August 21. Scrimmage times are tentatively scheduled for the same times as the Lubbock scrimmages.
Also, Meet the Lions is scheduled for Tuesday August 25 – Burgers are served starting at 5:30 and the program starts at 7:00 at Gordan Wood Stadium. All fall sports teams from the Junior High and High School will be introduced as well as the coaches. Parents and fans are encouraged to come out and support the players, coaches, and the Brownwood Booster Club.
