***UPDATE***

With just a trace of rain since this morning’s initial rainfall, the TTAB State Tournaments are going to attempt to continue later today.  The Senior Midget Boys are shooting to start game play at 4pm this afternoon at Camp Bowie.   The Junior Boys are going to attempt game play sometime after 5pm.  Officials will evaluate the field conditions and try to get as many games in tonight as possible.  The Junior Boys will play at the BHS field.

Brownwood received good rain & thunder showers overnight to the delight of many residents, but causing trouble for the TTAB State Tournaments.

The Weather Underground reports that the airport received 1.26 inches of rain over night between 4am and 8am.  Unofficial reports in town are all close to one inch mark.

Officials with the TTAB State Tournaments are watching the weather as another line of rain is approaching close to the noon hour.  Currently, games are postponed until at least 2pm today, but that may change depending on the amount of rain that is to come and the condition of the fields.

Check back at this article for updates on the baseball tournaments and current rainfall totals.
