The TTAB Senior Midget State Tournament kicked off today, and it was Brownwood vs Brownwood in one of the early games.

The Brownwood Lions played the Brownwood Longhorns putting local team vs local team early in the tournament.  The game played at Brownwood High School Baseball Field at 2pm today did not drive a wedge into the community however.  Both stands of spectators and parents could be heard encouraging players on both teams many times throughout the game.

 

 

In the end, the Brownwood Longhorns defeated the Brownwood Lions with a score of 17-3.  The Longhorns advance in the winner bracket to play the PG Mustangs at 8pm this evening at Camp Bowie Ball Fields.  The Lions drop to the losers bracket and will play Tuesday at 10am.
