Simple Simonz Pie Shop is now open for business!  The store joined the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and had its ribbon cutting ceremony today at its location at 201 East Baker in Downtown Brownwood.  The Chamber presented owner Dudley Taylor with a membership plaque with other Chamber members and ambassadors on hand.

Simple Simonz Pie Shop makes and sells pies, cakes, cookies, breads, muffins and brownies.  This locally owned business uses members of the family to help operate the store.  Mr. Taylor’s mom & dad, Kenneth & Linda Taylor, brother Randy and wife Jennifer, and sister Kathy Witt & her husband Jamie all lend a hand in the store.  A true family business.

Owner Dudley Taylor said it all started with a Buttermilk Pie.  Taylor also indicated that there are a few new items he is releasing today, but customers will have to come by and see what they are.  See the video below for more if his story.
