DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual Corks and Caps event is presented by Teddy’s Brewhaus set for Saturday\, October 2nd from 6 PM – 11 PM in the Depot Plaza in Brownwood. \nCorks and Caps will feature tastings of beer and wine from across Texas. A variety of food trucks will also be on hand offering food and desserts for purchase. All wineries will have bottles of their signature wines for sale. A cigar area will be a featured component during this event hosted by our very own CJ’s Cigar Lounge\, located in Downtown Brownwood and live music will be offered by The Zak Webb Band and Calamity Janes. \nThe first 300 tasters who arrive will get their choice of a Corks and Caps commemorative wine glass or a beer pilsner glass. \nTickets in advance are $25\, and include 10 tasting tickets or $15 for entrance only and no tasting tickets. \nTickets purchased at the gate will be $35 including 10 tastings\, or $25 for entrance only and no tasting tickets. \nAttendees must be 21 or older to purchase tasting tickets. \nTickets are exempt from Texas sales and use tax. DESCRIPTION:The 10th Annual Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and Wendlee Broadcasting Trick or Treat Presented by Hendrick Medical Brownwood will be held at the Depot Plaza in Brownwood on Thursday\, October 28th  from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. \nArea businesses and organizations will offer candy\, goodies\, games and other fun activities free of charge to area residents. \nAlso included during the event will be a Halloween Costume Contest sponsored by Matthew Williams State Farm.   The contest will offer cash prizes in the categories of most creative costume\, best couple costume\, best family costume\, best group costume\, cutest baby costume and best children’s costume.  Trophies provided by ASAP Creative Arts.  Entry forms for the costume contest are available at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce – 600 E.
