The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.
- Roel Palacios, pled guilty to the felony offenses of Felon in Possession of Firearm and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and was sentenced to 40 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Palacios, pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division pursuant to a plea agreement.
- Jackie James Swindall, Jr, pled guilty to the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division pursuant to a plea agreement.
