The Corinne T. Smith Animal Center has announced on social media a “Clear the Shelter’ event from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at the center, located at 3016 Milam Drive.

The post states: “Come find your new furry best friend for FREE! First RD vaccines, microchip, and spay/nueter all FREE! We will also be having our first “Adopt&Shop” with tons of great second hand items available for donations. There will be food&drink for donations and more! Come hang out with us and find your new heart dog or cat, for FREE!!!”
