LUBBOCK – Making their first-ever appearance in regional competition, the Brownwood Lady Lions doubles team of Ashlyn Bundick and Lanie Johnson – runners-up in District 6-4A – faced Seminole’s Addison Armstrong and Melany Vazquez at the Region I-4A tennis tournament Friday.

The Lady Lions came up short in their lone match at the McLeod Tennis Center on the Texas Tech University campus, dropping the decision in straight sets, 6-0 and 7-5.

The Seminole duo advanced to the regionals championship match where they’ll face Lily Harding and Abri Hays of Canyon Randall.
