The Brownwood Art Association will host their 3rd annual Stars of Texas Photo Shootout from noon to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31.

Registration will be held at the Adams Street Community Center Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

According to organizers, the Photo Shootout is similar to the Paint-Off event in that a digital photograph is to be completed within a certain period of time.  Entries will be judged by an independent juror for the Best Overall Image prize.

Entrants must be 18-year-old or older to participate.  There will be a $20 entry fee and the winner of the Best Overall Image prize will be awarded $250 (which is sponsored by Bostick Auto and Truck Sales).
