LLANO – The Brownwood Lions golf team finished second at the Llano Invitational on Wednesday with a 324 team score, which trailed only the 309 of Boerne.

Brownwood was led by Caleb Modawell, who came in second overall with a round of 70, followed by Cobe Walker with a 78, Will Stewardson with an 85, and Peyton Sharp with a 91.

The Lady Lions also competed in the tournament and fired a 404 team score.

Golfers included River Jones with a round of 92, London England with a 93, Tristyn Garcia with a 106 and Adrianna Allen with a 113.
