The American Southwest Conference earlier this week announced its weekly women’s tennis awards and Howard Payne University’s Victoria Ramos was tabbed as the ASC East Division women’s tennis Player of the Week.

Ramos, a freshman from Brownwood, went 2-0 in singles play for the week with wins in number two singles at Concordia Texas 7-5, 6-3 and versus Austin College 6-1, 6-3. Ramos also went 1-1 in number-one doubles partnering with Lexie Nave with an 8-4 win over Austin College.
