Robert Parker Neff, Jr. age 79 of Santa Anna, Texas passed to the arms of Jesus on Monday, January 2, 2023 at his residence.

Services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. David McLean officiating.

Robert was born May 18, 1943 in Lubbock, Texas to Robert Parker Neff, Sr. and Nelda Winifred Ragsdale Neff.  He was raised in Idalou, Texas graduating from Idalou High School, then continuing his education at Texas Tech University, but eventually decided his love was the land he grew up on.  He married Lynn DeBusk in Lubbock, Texas in 1963.  They raised 3 children together. First in Idalou, where they farmed with his father.  Then, in Ballinger, Texas where they ranched for almost 20 years.  Robert had a love for land, cattle and horses.  In his younger years he also loved football, hunting and fishing.  But, as he grew older his only entertainment was to feed and take care of the cattle at the Henderson CRC place in Santa Anna, Texas.  Robert also loved his family.  One of his favorite meals to cook was hamburgers.  Even though that changed through the years to going and grabbing a hamburger.  He found that much easier.  Robert will be missed by so many.  Especially his family.  But, there is peace in knowing he is riding his horse with his dog beside him, checking the cattle in heaven.  Funeral services are under direction and care of the staff of Henderson Funeral Home.

Survivors include Daughter – Denise & husband Weston Stoute of North Richland Hills, Texas; 2 Sons – Stephen Neff of Idalou, Texas and Stanley Neff of Santa Anna, Texas; 5 Grandsons; and Several Nieces & Nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Nelda Neff; Brother Charles Edward Neff; and 3 Sisters Mary Lou Neff Jones, Betty Frances Neff Davis & Dorothy Jean Neff Jackson.

Honorary Pallbearers are Grandsons Parker Neff, Raylan Neff, Bryant Neff, Hagen Stoute & Holden Stoute.
