Beginning at approximately 5 AM on Wed., August 10, Oncor Electric Delivery Co. will perform a power line transfer to a newly relocated utility pole, which will temporarily interrupt power at the intersection of US 377 (Main Street) and FM 2524 (Austin Avenue).

This utility relocation work is in preparation of the intersection improvement project planned at this location. Work is expected to last approximately 2-3 hours. Upon completion, power will be restored to the traffic signals. For more information about the US 377 and FM 2524 intersection improvement project, please visit the project page on TxDOT.gov.

While crews work to transfer the line to the new pole, traffic will be controlled by a flagger. Please use caution when driving in this area, obey flagger and all traffic signs, watch for crews, slow your speed, and avoid distractions.

Scan QR code above to follow TXDOT Brownwood District on Twitter (@TxDOTBWD) for transportation news and project updates including any potential changes in scheduling of TxDOT projects and work related to TxDOT’s Brownwood District. The Brownwood District includes the nine counties of Brown, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Lampasas, McCulloch, Mills, San Saba, and Stephens.
