In an email issued to subscribers Tuesday, Sept. 1 by Van. S Harris, the Harris Ratings System has announced it will discontinue due to medical issues.

BrownwoodNews.com has included the Harris Ratings in its high school football coverage in years past, as well as its predictions in in preview stories on a weekly basis.

BrownwoodNews.com will continue using the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football ratings and weekly projections going forward, along with those at sixmanfootball.com.
