Trina Newton née Middleton flipped off this mortal coil August 1, 2026 after a nice and noisy family visit. The family will host a celebration of life at their home on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
She lived well in many states, most noticeably Washington, Oklahoma, and Texas (Abilene and Brownwood is where most know her from). She is survived by her husband, Mike Newton of Brownwood; children, Marla Langer currently of Denver-ish, and Shannon Abbott currently of Abilene; brothers David of League City and Fred of Merkel. There are also 3 adored grandchildren, 3 spoiled dogs along with 2 very large cats. And an alarming amount of Amazon boxes. She enjoyed helping people, learning about many different things, and telling us what to do.
