Sara Michelle Croft, 60, of Bangs, passed away on July 17, 2026. Family will host a visitation from 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, July 23, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 24, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Jordan Springs Cemetery in Brown County.
Sara was born on August 25, 1965, in Snyder, Texas, to Dale Clark and Sandra Hill. She attended business school, medical school, and pursued a teaching degree. Sara loved furthering her education and was a career student. She owned 2 salons, Marketplace Salon and Tips & Snips Salon. She was employed at Brownwood Nursing and Rehab where she was a Medical Service Provider (Med Aide) for 8 years.
Sara was a solitude believer refreshed by Haven of Hope. She loved to help and heal broken people. She loved fishing, gardening, canning food, and her game room that she enjoyed with her friends.
Sara is survived by her oldest daughter, Marissa Cass; youngest daughter, Megan Bible; adopted children, Sandra Goins and Samuel Goins, Latasha Jonescue, as well as many, many, other children around Brown County; her brother, Jeff Clark; sister, DeAnne Rogers; 4 grandchildren, Chance, Keommi, Jerry, Linda; and her life partner, Danny Goins.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Sandra Hill and Dale Clark; grandchild, Lisa Bond; and many loved ones.
