EARLY – Get ready to discover the heart of our community at the Annual Smart City Expo on May 1st from 4 PM to 7 PM at McDonald Park!

This exciting event invites the community to meet and talk with the Mayor, council Members, and the dedicated men and women who work tirelessly to make our city a fantastic place to live, work, and play.

This is an excellent opportunity to get an up-close look at the Fire Department’s impressive new ladder truck and discover the latest developments at the Town Center. If you have questions about city finances, how your water bill is calculated, or how a single trash truck can efficiently collect everyone’s garbage in just one week, our knowledgeable staff will be on hand to provide clear and insightful answers. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and deepen your understanding of our community!

This event is not just for adults; it’s designed for all ages, making it an ideal outing for families! City departments and community partners have created an interactive experience that will deepen your understanding of our city’s operations. Kids can explore fire trucks, police vehicles, and much more! Pogue Farms will be on-site serving food.

Please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 1st, from 4 PM to 7 PM, and join us at the Annual Smart City Expo. You won’t want to miss this event, and we can’t wait to see you there!
